OUR MISSION

The Eastern Aberdeen Association is a regional partner for the American Aberdeen Association. Our goals and duties are to provide value to our membership as well as create opportunities for the American Aberdeen Breed within our member states. We strive to provide marketing, management, resources, education, training, as well as support of any regional shows, clinics or field days.

Our vision is to be the largest and most engaged regional association promoting the American Aberdeen breed.

OUR ROLES

PRESIDENT

  • Serve as the voice and face of the Board at events.
  • Preside over and conduct meetings.
  • Coordinate communication to the National Board.
  • Facilitate the association's strategic plan with the Board.
  • Maintain promotional materials.

VICE PRESIDENT

  • Coordinate all committee work.
  • Coordinate and perform membership recruitment.
  • Prepare and execute Board elections.

TREASURER

  • Maintain all budget and accounting functions.
  • Reconcile checking account.
  • Provide Board with monthly statements and financials.

SECRETARY

  • Maintain all Association records and bylaws.
  • Record, maintain, and distribute meeting minutes.

DIRECTOR

  • Actively work on committee.
  • Communicate with membership and work for member interest.
  • Recruit members.
